Marcus is a self-professed "lifelong comic book fan" and he has several comics of his own under his belt - The Protector (2019, 2023), Hedge Hollow, and The Indomitable Black Assassin.

 

Together with Bradley Golden, they have launched "Mississippi Zombie", a horror comic book anthology that depicts zombie apocalypse scenarios in the American South, particularly MS.
